4.0 Performing An Activity
An Activity is a specified job where one can define forms and attached files, activity states from start to completion, activity availability and due date. A user with the role of Admin og Activity Admin creates activity templates in the Activity Template editor and then assign individual activities based on the templates to groups of workers. The start data (called meta data) for an activity such as the name of a customer, can be automatically filled in a form. Read more on this in Managing: 5.0 Managing tasks.
Activities without associated forms
Activities usually consists of forms to be filled out, but it may just involve “states” to be checked off in a workflow chain. If this is the case, you will see in the Zegeba app some instructions to be completed and states to be set. When you are done with your part, the activity will be transferred to the next worker in the chain, or registered as complete.
Activities with associated forms
This is by far the most common type of activities in Zegeba. You are asked to fill in partly — or entirely — one or more forms, and perhaps set various “states” for the form or the activity as you go along. When you are done with your part, the activity will be transferred to the next worker in the chain, or registered as complete. Read more on this in the following sections.
Activities within contexts
If your company has started to use contexts and defined activities within these contexts, the app user will see their context types in the Zegeba app menu, and can click through the contexts to find their activities. See more information on this on the following pages.
