4.5 Editing task details
The Zegeba app user can edit some task details in the app: the task state and any task details set as being editable by the task template designer.
Changing the task state
The state of the task indicates how far the work has progressed. Typically, Next users select Ongoing or In progress when they start to work on the task and Completed or Finished when they are done. In the example pictured below there are also states for approval, and progression percentages. Task states can also be set in the Dashboard’s Task list; in the Edit Task Details.
Note: task states are not the same as form states. A form state is set for a specific form, while the task state concerns all work on the forms included in the task.
Modifying task details
The task template designer can set some – or all – task details as editable. In the picture below, the field “Service Technician” is editable. In the app below, the name of the technician added when the task was created has just been replaced by another; Alicia Rodriguez.
