4.4 The Summary Page

Published:
Updated:

The summary page is the page displayed at the closing of forms. You can save, print, view, close or customize settings for this form from this page.

Note that in some forms the form designer may have decided to omit the Summary page. Its buttons can then be found on one or more of the form’s pages.

Open the Summary page

Click on the button for Last Page or [Next] at the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

The Summary page will then open up:

The information at the top of the page concerns the answers given in the form at this stage. In the picture above we see that only 2 of the 24 questions have been answered. The 3 “incomplete” questions are mandatory questions that have not been answered yet.

Save and/or Close a form

  1. Click Save and Close to keep changes to the registered form data.

  2. Click Save to save the present version of the form as a new “edit” that will be uploaded to the server at the next sync. You will not see any messages after pressing this but can go back to the form pages by pressing one of them on the navigation bar at the bottom.

  3. Click Cancel to discard any changes to the form data registered.

Note: The options that your company/organization use may differ from this picture. The states are configured in the main Form element in the Designer – see Designing: 6.1 The main Form element.

View All

Shows all input fields in a read-only view.

Generate PDF

Printing a Zegeba form is generally done via a PDF file that is saved, perhaps sent by email and then printed at a later time. This process ensures that printing can be prepared offline, and prevents you from getting distorted prints due to varying printer support on different devices.

When accessing the form in a web browser, you may print it directly from the browser to the System printer, but we cannot guarantee the quality of such an output, nor support it. PDF file generation is the only supported solution for sharing or printing a filled-in form.

Note that if you select this option without first saving the form, you may not get any photos included in the PDF as they have not been saved yet.
