FAQ: Images are not loading in the form in the app.

If you encounter a 404 error message on images when opening a form in the app, it could be due to the form or media being uploaded more than 60 days ago.

Why Does This Happen?

  • In the app settings, the default Max age remote media (in days) is set to 60 days.
  • This setting prevents the device from storing media and data for too long, which could cause the app to slow down.

How to Resolve the Issue:

  1. Change the Max Age Setting:
    • Adjust the Max age remote media setting in the app to sync older media.
  2. Access the Form via Dashboard:
    • For a better experience, find the form in Data Views on the Zegeba Dashboard.
    • Open the form from the Dashboard. This is an online process where all media is always available.

Additional Note:

This issue might also be the reason why a signature is not present in the form or why you receive a 404 error on the signature field.

By following these steps, you can access the required media without affecting app performance.
