4.2 Element Properties
The panel Element Properties shows the editable properties of the element selected in the Elements panel.
The Properties toolbar on top shows various buttons depending on the element selected:
Settings
Settings shows the general properties of the element, such as its label, ID and positioning:
Rules
Rules – if present for the selected element type, this is where you enter any mathematical or logical rules, validations or calculations for the element.
Styling
Styling – specifies the styling and coloring of the selected element. Note that the styling will apply to both the element’s label and its user input.
PDF – this is where you decide how the element should look on the PDF print-out of the form. For the main Form element you can set some general sizes such as page margins.
Other
Other – allows you to hide certain features of the element or set a default value. For the Form element you can set several special features in this tab, such as email notifications and allowed form states on the Summary page.
Bin
Bin – contains a hold area for deleted elements. You may later drag them from this area and back into the form.
Repeats
Repeats – for repeat and subrepeat elements, there is a special tab with various settings for the content and look of the repeat.
When elements are placed inside repeats, they will get a Repeats tab too:
