My User Settings
“My User Settings” is where you manage your own profile in Zegeba. From here you can update personal details (first/last name, email, phone), upload a profile picture, choose your default landing page after login, review your roles and access (if permitted), and change your password. You can also log out from here.
Steps
Open My User Settings
- Go to the bottom-left of the dashboard sidebar and click your avatar/name.
- Tip: Hover to reveal Log out (click to sign out of the dashboard).
Edit profile details
- In Details, update First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone. Fields (e.g., Username) is read-only.
- Optional: Choose your Default start page to control what page opens after you log in (e.g., Users, Forms, Tasks).
Upload a profile picture
- In Profile picture, click Upload and select a JPG/JPEG (≤1 MB).
Review or change Roles (if permitted)
- Open the Roles tab.
- Select the appropriate role(s), such as Admin, Data Collector, Form Manager, etc. Changes require the right permission; if you cannot edit, contact your admin.
Review Access (if permitted)
- Open the Access tab to view or modify what the user can access. If fields are locked, contact your admin.
Change your password
- Open the Password tab.
- Enter Current password, New password, and Confirm new password.
- Follow the policy checklist (≥8 characters, upper/lowercase, number, special character; new and confirm must match).
Save or cancel changes
- Use Save (top-right) to store updates, or Cancel to discard.
FAQs
1) Where do I find My User Settings?
Bottom-left of the sidebar; click your avatar/name to open.
2) Can I change my username?
No. Username is managed by admins and is only possible to make once.
3) I don’t see the Roles or Access tabs — why?
These are permission-controlled. Ask your administrator if you need changes.
4) What file types and size are supported for the profile picture?
JPG/JPEG up to 1 MB.
5) What are the password rules?
At least 8 characters, 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 number, and 1 special character; new and confirm must match.
