4.11 Tab View and Card View
From Zegeba 4.10, Tab View is introduced for activities in the calendar. The difference appears when an activity is opened. The same information is available in Tab View as in Card View.
The layout can be changed both in the dashboard settings and in the app.
Card View is the default, but it can be changed. Once the layout is changed, the settings will remain until they are changed again.
Tab View
Tab View is the newest layout and was introduced in Zegeba 4.10.
Each activity will be divided into 4–5 tabs (depending on whether Extras is used).
- The first tab is Data Captures. This is where all forms and entries in the activity are located. For empty forms, you can click “Add” to start a new one, or use the orange “+” button in the top right corner. To view entries, click on each form—this will open a dropdown with all entries.
- Next, we have Attachments. You can either add attachments using “Add First” (if no attachments have been added), or use the orange “+” in the top right corner.
- In the third tab, we find Assignments. This is where we see a list of all users assigned to the selected activity.
- Next, we have Extras. Not everyone uses Extras, and it will only be visible if it is in use. Extras can contain additional information, similar to metadata, but allows this information to be kept separate from the main metadata.
- The last tab is Details. This is where we find the metadata. In Tab View, we can also see whether the metadata comes from the activity or the context.
Card View
Card View is the layout most users are familiar with. It shows limited information by default, but everything is accessible from a single page.
We start with an overview of the forms. Here, you can click on a form to see a list of entries from that specific form.
Below the list of forms, you’ll find Attachments. Use the plus icon on the right to add attachments.
Next, there’s an accordion labeled “Show details.” Clicking this will open a view of the metadata for the selected activity.
