5.4 Editing Activity Details
You can choose between editing one activity and editing the activity state and users of multiple activities at once.
Edit one activity
From the Activity screen in the Dashboard you can edit the activity details first entered in the New Activity window.
- Select Activities on the Dashboard’s side menu and
select the activity template for the activity you want was generated from. - Find the activity you want in the list. Use the search bar on top to search for it if you can’t see it right away.
- Press the Edit Activity icon to open the Edit Activity window.
- Enter your changes and press [Save].
The changes will immediately be reflected in the Activities screen, and in the Zegeba app after the next sync.
Edit multiple activities
Each activity in the Activities screen has a check box that you can check in order to set some activities settings for this and other selected activities in one go. As soon as at least one activity is selected like this, the [Edit Selected Acitivities] button will be activated.
- Select the activities you wish to change and press the [Edit Selected Activities] button.
- To change their activity state, press the dropdown list in “Activity State”.
If you don’t want to change user assignment, leave the Activity Assignment option as “No change”. - To change the assignment of users for these activities,
– select Add to add new users in Assignees below, in addition to the users already assigned
– select Replace to remove the present users assigned and add new ones in Assignees below
– select Remove to unassign the users you have entered in Assignees below
– select Clear to unassign all users from the selected activities
Edit activities in Home View
In the Home view, you can edit activities individually or multiple at once using a “bulk edit.”
By clicking the three dots on an activity, the editing panel will appear on the right side.
- Tab 1 is Info.
This shows the status and activity information like metadata. - Tab 2 is Forms.
Here, you select which form templates should be available in the activity. - Tab 3 is Attachments.
Here you can view, add, or delete attachments. - Tab 4 is Assignment.
Here you see all users assigned to the activity. Users with the correct role can also assign additional users or remove assignees.
When you’re done, click “Save.”
If you want to edit multiple activities at the same time, you need to select the relevant activities and click “Edit.”
The tabs that appear when editing multiple activities are Info and Assignees.
Only the metadata fields that are common to all selected activities can be edited.
