5.3 Viewing Activities
Users with the roles Admin or Activity Admin can find the list of activities for each activity template by either selecting Activities or Activity Templates on the Dashboard meny and then clicking on the relevant template. The Activity screen for this template will then open:
The 3 top activities in this picture are part of contexts. You can click on the context to open it in the Context Builder.
Searching for Activities
You can enter text in the Search activities field to search for, and even use terms from several columns at a time, with an AND logic. In the picture above, a search for NEW Andotech will find only the second activity in the list. The search here is not case-sensitive.
Viewing Activities
- From the Activities screen shown above, find the activity you want.
Use the search bar on top to search for it if you can’t see it right away. - Press this activity’s Open Activity icon (the eye) to open the Web app and access the activity.
- Browse through the activity elements to view them and if needed, fill out the activity’s forms.
Note: if you are not assigned to the activity you want to open, the activity will be shown in the Web app but you cannot create new reports, only view existing reports in read-only mode. Such acitivities will not be listed in your Activities list in the app.
Viewing Activities in Home View
Activities can be viewed in the Home view.
By default, there is an “All Activities” folder in the menu. Clicking on this gives you an overview of all activities on the server.
By using advanced search and filters, you can easily find the specific activities you’re looking for.
Clicking the arrows on an activity that contains one or more entries will display those entries directly from the dashboard. This way, you don’t need to open the app to see the entries.
You can create custom views in Home and configure them to only display activities of a specific type or those that contain specific values.
