Create a new folder

In the Dashboard’s Form Templates screen, press [New Folder],
type a name for the folder and press [Save].

Copy a folder

  1. In the Dashboard’s Form Templates screen, left-click on the striped icon next to the folder name.

  2. Select Export Folder on the menu. The .zff folder file is now saved in the Downloads folder on your PC.
(If you want to copy the folder to a different server, change to the Dashboard on that server and continue below.)

  3. Press the [Import] button on top of the Form Templates screen, press [Select File] and select the .zff folder file you just exported.
Select the options you want in the Import File dialog box, and press [Import].

  4. If you selected Import Folder and are importing it to the same server, the copy will be stored under its original folder name with “(1)” appended.

Note: You cannot copy data captured in the folder’s forms. The export file only contains the various versions of the form designs.

Note: If you copied the folder to a different server and the folder’s forms contain links to files in the previous server’s Resources, you must download those files manually and upload them to the new server’s Resources. In addition you must manually change the file links in the forms to point to the new server.

Rename a folder

  1. In the Dashboard’s Form Templates screen, left-click on the striped icon next to the folder name.
  2. Select Rename Folder on the menu.
  3. You will not get a new window, but you may type a new name for the folder in the input box already containing the old name, and press [Enter] to save.

Delete a folder

  1. In the Dashboard’s Form Templates screen, left-click on the striped icon next to the folder name.
  2. Select Delete Folder, and press [Confirm] to confirm deletion.

See how you can archive a folder in Managing: 4.5 Archive folders, forms and data.
