There are several ways a form designer can use to adding an image, a video or a sound clip to a Zegeba form:
- a base64 encoded image, or
- a URL, i.e. a https:// web address, or
- a reference to media already defined in another element
You can use the Multimedia Label element designed especially for such content. This element was introduced in Zegeba v3.7, and contains no text label visible in the form or on PDFs; only multimedia content. Enter the media reference in the field Media under the Styling tab in Element Properties.
Other element types such as Text Label or Text Input can still be used for multimedia content, but you have to be careful to hide the Label property in the form and on the PDF – check the element property Do not display label under Label.
Note! Video and Audio references are better handled with a Link element with a URL to the file online. They will then be cached for offline usage in the app.
